Woodbridge and our surrounding communities have been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines.
The Dentists of Woodbridge will be open to patients starting June 1st with emergent or likely to become emergent conditions, including acute pain or discomfort on a limited basis. We anticipate opening to all patients once we get further authorization from the NJ State Board of Dentistry when they issue updated re-opening guidelines. The safety of our team and patients is our highest priority. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our office’s commitment to your safety. We ask that you please be patient and understand that we will do our best to accommodate your scheduling needs as we know many of you are anxious to get back into our office.
Please read about the protocols we have set in place due to COVID-19.
Putting Our Patients First with enhanced SAFETY PROTOCOLS
Infection control has always been a top priority in our practice. We have kept you safe and will continue to do so. We follow recommendations and guidelines made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). This allows us to make sure that our infection control procedures are up-to-date and enables us to provide the safest environment for you and your family members. We have not instituted a PPE fee or raised our fees to offset our PPE costs as keeping you safe is just part of our commitment to you while keeping your dentistry affordable.
During this time, we have implemented additional safety precautions to help protect our patients and staff.
Upon scheduling an appointment, a COVID-19 questionnaire will be emailed or text messaged to you. This questionnaire must be completed before you arrive in the office. We will postpone treatment for any patient who has experienced or been in contact with someone who has experienced the following symptoms within 14 days of the scheduled appointment date: fever, cough, loss of taste and/or smell, flu-like symptoms, difficulty breathing or shortness of breath, and fatigue.
We will be scheduling appointments in a manner that promotes social distancing and allows for adequate time for us to disinfect all areas of the office in between patient appointments.
Upon arrival at our office, call us before entering the office to let us know you have arrived. We will call you once the office is ready for you to enter.
We ask that patients enter the office unaccompanied, if possible. Please do not bring extra people with you. For those patients who need a guardian to accompany them, we ask that this be limited to a single family member. Our reception room will no longer offer magazines, since these items are difficult to clean and disinfect. We do not anticipate most patients will be seated in the reception area as our goal is to get you straight into a treatment room.
Clear plexiglass (sneeze guards) have been installed at the front desk to minimize exposure to airborne pathogens. Every person entering the office is expected to wear a face mask or covering and will be asked to sanitize their hands immediately upon entry.
We will confirm you have no fever with a contactless thermometer upon your arrival. We may check your oxygen levels using a pulse oximeter.
We are sanitizing all common areas and bathrooms numerous times throughout the day. Our doctor and staff will be wearing all of the recommended personal protective equipment (PPE).
Thank you for being part of the Dentists of Woodbridge practice.
We value your trust and loyalty, Drs. Jablow and Antmann along with our entire team look forward to seeing you all again. Welcome Back!
